A cost-effective organic oil absorbent for use on small and large industrial and marine oil spillages.

• Cleansorb™ is a dried sphagnum peat moss product that absorbs up to 14 times its own weight, repels water (hydrophobic) and absorbs oil (oleophilic) which is not subsequently released back into the environment
• Cleansorb™ is non leaching
• Oil absorbed is retained until it biodegrades naturally by the bacteria contained in bio-active soil
• Used every day in factories, on ships, transporters, at ports and refineries, power stations, steel mills, fire departments and water authorities
• Typical absorption times: Petrol or gasoline 2 seconds - Gasoil 5 seconds - Engine oil 20 seconds - Light crude 60 seconds - Heavy crude 90 seconds
